At The Little French School, our mission is rooted in empowering children socially, emotionally, and academically through the beautiful lens of French language, culture, and diversity. We believe that a warm, fun, and inclusive environment is the best foundation for learning.
Our vision is to uplift each child’s well-being and self-confidence while instilling essential values of acceptance, respect, and creativity. Through play, children develop empathy and social skills, key elements of lifelong success. We never forget that play is not just fun. It is powerful!

We believe that inclusion is a right, not a privilege. The Little French School is an open and accepting safe space for all children, families, and staff to learn, explore, play, connect, and work. We do not discriminate in enrollment or employment decisions on the basis of race, religion, ethnic or national origin, familial status, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, sexual orientation, ability, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local law. We welcome in our school all shapes, sizes, colors, sexes, languages, cultures, beliefs, ages, and statuses.
Our school is open for children between the ages of 24 months and 5 years in our three French immersion levels.

Land Acknowledgement
Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that we are located on Kalapuya Ilihi, the traditional indigenous homeland of the Kalapuya people. Following treaties between 1851 and 1855, Kalapuya people were dispossessed of their indigenous homeland by the United States government and forcibly removed to the Coast Reservation in Western Oregon. Today, Kalapuya descendants are primarily citizens of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, and they continue to make important contributions to their communities, to Oregon, and to the world.
In following the Indigenous protocol of acknowledging the original people of the land we occupy, we also extend our respect to the nine federally recognized Indigenous Nations of Oregon: the Burns Paiute Tribe, the Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians, the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde, the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, the Coquille Indian Tribe, the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians, and the Klamath Tribes. We express our respect to the many more tribes who have ancestral connections to this territory, as well as to all other displaced Indigenous peoples who call Oregon home.
